CPC has launched a new service for the production of highly personalised sales and marketing materials. Using advanced computer-to-print technology, CPC can instantly produce thousands of printed items; each one individually personalised by matching contact databases to variable content.
Previously, personalisation of volume marketing communications has been restricted to mail-merged cover letters or text over-printing. Now every individual leaflet, brochure, CD insert or training booklet can be personalised with different text, colours and images. Such levels of personalisation dramatically boost the impact and response rates of direct marketing promotions.
A specialist in digital media production, CPC has pioneered new technology in printing, packaging and fulfilment, including use of digital print technology. Many of CPC’s existing clients rely on the company to produce special runs of CD and DVD packages, with printed sleeves and literature often customised for each run.
Through their digital media production business, CPC had had identified an increasing demand for personalised packaging and materials to accompany CDs and DVDs. “Now we are one of the first companies in the UK to take delivery of this new computerised print technology. It promises to revolutionise marketing communications by allowing each item to be entirely personalised for the recipient” says Kevin Assinder, Managing Director of CPC.
As well as personalisation, the new technology eliminates many of the processes needed for conventional printing. This allows guaranteed-quality items to be printed instantly direct from file with printing of up to 16,000 documents per hour.
