CPC has won a contract with Hitachi Europe to produce and package CD's. Working with the Hitachi's Solutions Division in Maidenhead, CPC is producing evaluation CD ROM packages and branded recordable CD's for the company's JP1 Enterprise Management Software.

Well known in consumer electronics, CD ROM PackageHitachi is also the world's fifth largest software company. As well as CD production, CPC print the CD folders and make up the complete software packages, delivering the final product. Hitachi expects to ship thousands of the CD packages directly to associate offices and customers throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Hitachi is also the largest Electronics and Electrical Equipment company in the world and CPC are also providing CD duplication and digital printing services to Hitachi Micro Systems. This involves on-demand digital printing and distribution of user manuals for Hitachi electronics systems and components.

Hitachi supplies CPC with electronic copies of documents that are sent from Germany, Japan and the UK. CPC extracts the essential information and converts it into a common file and then re-formats the text and images, into a printable format. Manual and CD products are then manufactured as required from these files.
