CPC has worked hard with its customers and suppliers to adopt environmentally friendly processes wherever possible.
CPC recommends the use of recycled and part recyclable materials. CPC currently recycles 82% of its waste. Nearly all the paper we use for printing comes from FSC accredited sources.

Environmental Policy
CPC is committed to the protection and preservation of natural resources in relation to the environment. In addition to complying with the law, we will give a high priority to implementing an environmental management programme based on continual improvement, assessment and to prevent pollution.
Assessment is critical, therefore CPC will make certain that all parts of the company assess its impacts on the environment and strive to reduce them. This will be achieved by using the best available techniques, where possible. The management team is expected to accept responsibility for the achievement of environmental goals and to ensure that overall objectives and commitments of this policy are followed. Therefore:
CPC will seek to minimise the environmental impact of the products and services it supplies through the use of methods and materials that are safe to use and disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
- Look to maximise the efficiency of its waste streams by aiming to reduce andpromote recovery and recycling where possible.
- Look to work with suppliers and customers for long term gain by encouraging the incorporation of environmental criteria into specifications of product and services supplied.
- Assign management and authority and responsibility in all operational areas of the company, so that all employees are aware of their individual role in implementing this policy.
- Strive to minimise the potential risks to the environmental in the event of any abnormal situation that might arise, through the preparation of emergency plans where necessary.
- Set and review annual objectives and targets designed to ensure continual improvement in its environmental performance.
CPC will actively encourage its employees, suppliers and customers alike, to participate in its constant drive for continual improvement, by identifying and resolving environmental concerns.
